This place isn't so bad but it wouldn't be my first place to go to for Mexican food. A big plus for them is that they are fast to get your food done, so it's not like you'll be waiting for long once youbolace your order.
First time here. Guy at the counter (possibly the owner) was very friendly and helpful. Ask for his recommendations, you will not be sorry
I grew up eating Mexican food, and there is nothing particularly surprising about the menu. You'll find all the usual dishes and a few specialties (they offer shrimp as a filling option for tacos and burritos).
Simple take out place with a few tables to seat for lunch the blue tortilla is a authentic spot to get good flavor and a quick bite of some good tacos, burritos and other assorted Spanish dishes and platters. They have a salsa bar to fill your own salsa, choose between three til you find the one that's just right. Blue tortilla good Spanish food that never leaves you feeling blue.
This is one of the better "hole in the wall" Mexican restaurants in the area. They do have about a dozen tables, but I have always taken the food away or had it delivered. I should warn you that they do get very busy at night and the line has been known to stretch out the door -- but this is because the food is so good and the line moves well.
I like the Burrito Mucho (a foot long burrito) with grilled chicken. No matter how hungry I am, it always fills me up. I am also partial to the Jalapeno Poppers which have just the right amount of grease and crispiness. There is also a nice salsa bar in the restaurant and they have always included a few containers of salsa for my chips when I place an order for delivery.
Wow I really enjoyed this place. I got super fries or carne asada fries as they called them there. Not as good as the ones I get in Southern California but still delicious. Have a fantastic salsa bar here and gave me extra chips when I asked for them no charge. Really enjoyed my chimichanga that I had, I will be going back for another one of those.
